KHA to Host a Meeting for Quality Data Users using McKesson as their HIT/EHR Vendor
Friday, October 10, 2014 8:44 AM
In recent months, KHA staff has had many requests to host meetings of hospital quality data users, using common Health Information Technology (HIT) systems. KHA will host a pilot meeting on October 23 for quality data users from Kentucky hospitals using McKesson as their HIT/EHR vendor.
The meeting will allow quality leaders, quality data extractors and reporters, and other staff working in IT the opportunity to discuss challenges and solutions and share both standard and customized reports with the goal to:
- Promote streamlining data access;
- Improve compliance with reporting requirements for quality improvement programs; and
- Provide better data for hospital leaders to take informed steps on performance improvement.
Please share the Health IT Quality Data User Meeting sign-up sheet with appropriate people in your office. Meeting space is limited, so be sure to register as soon as possible. A small $25 registration fee is being collected to cover refreshments and a boxed lunch.
KHA will hold additional meetings with other vendors by request. If you have any questions or requests, please contact Elizabeth Cobb at KHA (502-426-6220 or 800-945-4542 or via email at email@example.com).
